A frozen egg product made of 100% whole egg without additives or preservatives. Indoor (barn) eggs are collected from the various poultry farms and transported to our production facility in premium sanitary conditions. They are then stored, broken, pasteurised and packed. Whole egg is prepared by breaking fresh hen's eggs, after which they are pasteurised, packed in the desired packaging and frozen (<-18°C). In addition to guaranteeing food safety (no salmonella), the pasteurisation process mainly assures a longer and better shelf life.
Cocovite frozen whole egg products have the same specifications and qualities as the liquid variant and also have a longer shelf life because they are frozen. After thawing (at a temperature between 0°C and 4°C) these products can be processed like a traditional liquid whole egg. After thawing, this product works perfectly in all preparations that rely on natural, fresh and full egg flavour.
